X-Fi Elite Pro - are finally available at Best Buy in the US.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi brand was huge at QuakeCon! As the Title Sponsors at QuakeCon, we had a massive booth! We were thrilled to be able to meet so many dedicated Sound Blaster fans. There was always something exciting going on. During the day, QuakeCon visitors had the opportunity to challenge Fatal1ty himself in Fatal1ty Quake 4 shootouts; he was the DOOM 3 QuakeCon Champion last year. Once again, nobody was able to beat Fatal1ty!
For QuakeCon visitors who were not yet up to speed on X-Fi technology, we had presentations taking place throughout the day. People had many chances to win great prizes including the latest X-Fi audio solutions! Attendees challenged fellow gamers in the X-Fi Fatal1ty and PCMCIA Sound Blaster Time Trial Challenges and walked away with the latest X-Fi audio solutions and
PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook solution.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Case Mod Contest at QuakeCon gave attendees the chance to show off their gaming box case mods. The top 20 finalists were awarded trophies and the top 3 winners were awarded $2500, $1500 and $1000 each during the awards ceremony on Saturday, Aug 12.
Creative also sponsored the Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Press Lunch on Friday, Aug 12 for around 100 members of the media. A few of the lucky ones walked away with the latest X-Fi audio solutions.
