Creative debuted the revolutionary X-Fi technology for the first time in Europe at DreamHack Sweden, one of the largest professional gaming leagues in the world! Attendees ranging from gamers, game publishers and the press were wowed by the X-Fi audio technology demos; they could not wait to get their systems upgraded with the X-Fi audio solution. To get the gamers even more excited, Creative invited Fatal1ty for a featured appearance at the booth. Many gamers got to play against Fatal1ty for a fun but yet competitive shootout and hang out with Johnathan to discuss the latest gaming trends and gear.
Creative announced a whole new audio architecture called X-Fi (Xtreme Fidelty) in mid-May. DreamHack was the first venue in Europe where the team showed off the technology to the public. Despite the long line, attendees patiently waited their turn to experience the X-Fi technology demos. X-Fi is the new standard in audio as well as the most powerful audio processor, which provides dramatic improvements to the playback and recording of MP3 music, accelerates and improves PC game play, enhances the listening experience for movies, and improves the capabilities, performance and quality of audio creation. Attendees were amazed at the extraordinary headphone surround technology. Many of them commented that the externalization let them hear their opponents better in a FPS game and enabled them to enjoy their music without fatigue, even with headphones. They were so impressed with X-Fi that many of them wore the X-Fi logo on their faces for the entire show!
Besides going crazy with the demos, attendees were excited to see Fatal1ty. He was loved by 4000 screaming fans at the booth who were gathered to see the shootout and of course meet him in person and get his autograph. Johnathan is adored by fans of all ages - from the pro-gamers to young fans who are aspiring to become gamers. One such boy was Johan who was thrilled when Johnathan agreed to play against him on the main stage in front of thousands of fans. Johan got 2 frag points against him and the crowd went wild.
Attendees were also given a chance to win cool prizes at the booth provided by all the Fatal1ty licencees - Creative, ABIT and Zalman.

Fatal1ty was also competing at the CPL Sweden competition which was taking place at DreamHack. He lost by 1 frag point and came in 2nd to Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager during the 2nd overtime of the final game! It was an exciting game till the last second! The next stop was in CPL Dallas and this time Fatal1ty defeated Vo0 to finish in first place.
