Fatal1ty takes on challengers at PainKiller at the CeBIT shootout
At the 2005 Cebit show in Germany, the world's leading event for information technology, telecommunications, software and services, Creative’s booth was jam packed! The biggest attraction?FATAL1TY! Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel was showing his prowess for which he is well known...GAMING! He was wholeheartedly conducting shootouts with eager fans and press from all over Europe. There were some very dedicated fans that had traveled for hours on trains to catch a glimpse of him in action.

The shootouts were open to event attendees and press who wanted the chance to play PainKiller against Fatal1ty. Competitions consisted of 1v1 matches for 5-minutes or 5 frags (points) whichever came first. Creative sponsored prizes worth up to 5000 Euros such as the award-winning Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro sound card and the GigaWorks S750 gaming speakers for whoever could take down Fatal1ty. Unfortunately, no one managed to beat Johnathan at the CeBIT shootout.
